Default Moser 12bolt TA Bolts???

Is there any good cure to keeping the torque arm bolts on a Moser rear?? As I have not been very succesful to this point with keeping them tight

umm cant put nuts on the Moser, they take two on top and two bolts on the bottom, unlike the factory design. thx tho

Not sure what to tell you...I used the bolts with a regular washer, lock washer and loctite and they never even thought about coming out.

Safety wire is the best fix. I use locktite and check them all the time.

I know of a couple people that welded teh bolts to the tq arm mount... but that's a little on the extreme side I think.

Red locktite and keep two in the console.

Thx for the help guys, had a local fastener company just me some aircraft hardened bolts which of course have the safety wire previsions, so i should be good now.

i had that problem.....green loctite and tighten the **** outta them and i was good.....i always checked them before i went to the track and they never loosened back up

after eating 5 tq arms i finally went with a spohn which is made out of thicker plate and I put a tack on the bottom bolts and loctited the top, almost a year without touching them and no problems but the 12 bolt is coming out and the 10 is going back in...the 12bolt is the worst thing ive ever done nothing an on going headache

What kind of problem have you had with a 12 bolt that was so bad that you'd want to put a junk 10 bolt back in your car

well the first one i had for a year it wasnt too bad but it did leak from day 1 then the axle tube split from the center section while i was driving and it bent an axle so i had to dish out another grand or so for a housing and axle
so now im on my 2nd moser, still pisses gear oil from the pinion and axle seals, ive had it apart 4 or 5 times to replace the seals with no luck, it clunks and bangs under the car and rides like ****, its partly due to the tq arm i have sending alot of noise through the body but so far the spohn is the only one thats held up, might switch back to a trans mounted arm
