I need a clutch bad and am choosing between ram and cartek. ram looks good with a billet flywheel.

The 6130 disc is having problems slipping and building up heat.It seams that it could be the master cylinder adjustment causing the disc to slip over a long period of time and melting the disc to the flywheel.We have several customers with this disc without any problems,so far its only three cases and they were delt with promptly.

everybody knows that black 98 6speed formulas are that shizz heh..
if you are leary about ram, keep an eye on the spec gen 2 stage 4.. i have the ceramic/unsprung disk and to take a quote from "undercover brother", "its SOLID" sitting on my counter anyway, but rob raymer loves it in his turbo 680rwtq test car..

Re: What is the Best RAM setup? I've run the Mcleod Rev lok with great sucess. Many street miles and about 60 pases down the track ( 1.58-1.68 on average).
I am currently running the SPEC Stage 5 ( iron disk, unsprung hub, HD pressure plate). Keep an eye out for it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I'll let you know; it was on backorder for 6 wks.
I paid close to $800 when it was all said and done.
p.s. - the 980 disk is organic flywheel side/sintered iron p.p. side)

Had a 96 Formula with 45K; same clutch.
