I bought a set of 3.89 for a 9inch and their a little noisy. Even after a pulling a couple times to check the pattern. other than that I have no other complaints . The gears have been in for about 5000 miles so far.

They are probably made in India. Similar to any "generic" gear you would get from a driveline supplier. For any hatchback or van I wouldnt use them just because fo noise concerns. I would say probably 9 of 10 would set up quiet, but it is that last one.

that last part is a little confusing... lol

but thanks for the India thing.. i didnt think about it, but you're probly right... they arnt performance gears, but just regular gears ment for a truck or van or something of that nature.

i think i'll just stick with what i know works.

Well I just had a set installed. Them some load *** gears. The same guy has installed a few sets for me, all quiet, all richmond. Now could these be a bad set up, possible. I'll say I won't buy another set.
