02 fbody 4channel axle in 97 3channel fbody Other than the tone ring on the end of the axle, is there any difference in the lenght? A friend of mine needs an axle for his 97 TA. I have a spare set of 4 channel axles out of a 02 Fbody. I think the 4 channel axle will go into the 3 channel rear without any clearance issues with the tone ring; I'm just looking for some verification before we try it.
