Default Stock steel driveshaft w/ 12 Bolt

Will it last? I'm getting a 12 bolt for my Camaro and want to just use a stock steel driveshaft I have out of an LT1 car. I'm just curious if it will hold up to the abuse of 5K dumps. My car is only a bolt on car and I have no intention of making it anything more than a cam only car within the next couple of years. What do you think?

It will be fine. Wouldn't hurt to get a driveshaft loop, though.

The shaft is fine, but I've seen the splines on the slip yoke twist. Maybe upgrade to a stronger slip yoke with a bigger U-joint?
