are 4.30's to much for an a4? this will be a driver and 1/8 mile car with a 28 inch slick and 27 inch street tire. i'v alredy had the 4.30's with a m5 so i know it a lot of gear for the street, but this ls1 is going to be WAY faster than my old 302.what mph in 3rd with 4.30's and 28 inch slick at 6600?

I ran 4.10's in my car, pretty much stock, and they worked great for me.
If you've got the tire and the 6600 RPM rev limiter to pull it off, then I don't see why you can't do 4.30's. Especially if you're doing 1/8 mile running?? (what speeds were you typically trapping in the 1/8 anyway?? )

Looks like you're good to ~128 mph @ 6600 RPM in 3rd gear w/28" tall tires, but factor in some converter slippage, and I think I've heard that 28" slicks aren't truly 28" tall?? But still you should be good to well over ~120 mph anyways?
