what's up everybody?
i have always been wondering if it is possible to buy s used or even a brand new rearend from a mustang or ford dealer.
i know they are a lot stronger than our 10 bolt 7.5" rearends.
is there any mods needed to be done? anybody tried that before?
because there are people that have Ford 9" on f-bodies..
one more? is Ford's 8.8" stronger than the 12 bolt??
thanks in advance,

LOL...I guess I'm foul mouthed since I will mention that I have a FO$D 9" rear. Problem is that you have to accomodate the F-body suspension:
Spring perches, LCA mounts, TORQUE ARM mount, etc. Also need the right width. 9" are somewhat easy to do this with since they have a housing with a separate Center section...Moser welds on some threaded tubes and a bigass torque arm mount. with a rear with an integrated center (10-bolt, 12-bolt, 8.8 Fo%d, etc) the mounts need typically need to be cast into the center like the 10-bolt has. Moser and strange both do this but there aren't any 8.8" done like this that I'm aware of.
