I would get 3.73's so 3rd gear stretches out a little more.

my mods are similar to yours and you should definitly go with 4.10's. I have 3.73's right now and I will switch to 4.10's and a 12 bolt when I get the money

I would definitely get 3.73s if I had an auto. I have 4.11s in my m6 and they would definitely be too steep for an A4 unless you plan to use a 28" tire.

I just went from 2.73's to 4.10's in mine and i like it. it feels tons quicker, but it spins around 2600@70 in fourth. 4.10's should be around 6100@115 and 5900@111mph in third just to give an idea.

I think i'll go with 3.73s if ever need new gears in this 12 bolt. I think they suit a daily driven car better.

How about 3.90s? They fall right in the middle.

So does that mean you will run out of gear if you trap higher then 115????
Or is that just for a stock size tire? aka 26"

I assume a 28 would raise that trap speed?

Im in the same boat. Mods in sig. I had 411 with my m6 then converted to a4 a few weeks ago. Went to track on saturday and pulled a 10.8 at 124 but i had to shut down about 130 feet before the end. I was bouncing the rev limiter set at about 6800. This was with a 27 inch tall tire. Im goin to try out a 28inch tall tire as a last ditch effort to not putting in the 373 gear. Ill keep you posted.

this is what im thinking when you get over 115 your car will shift to OD which will kill your time shifting to another gear, with the 3.73's i believe you should be able to finish in D
