The cars is a 2002 Camaro with TH400 and a 450+ HP motor with a 200-300 shot on it. Should I get a Spooled 12bolt or 9". I would like to get a 12-bolt because they are lighter but I'm afraid that it would be too weak what would you guys do?

The 68 had well over 200 transbrake launches on its old Dana 60. 3400 lb always kitted to well over 1000 RWHP with a Supercharged N2O combo. Followed by another 100 plus passes with a 540 N2O motor at 900+ RWHP No appreciable wear other than the stock posi failing early in its life, which was replaced with a spool. My other cars have had similar power levels, with both 9" and 12 bolts- no failures. Pick your poisen. unless something is wrong with the latest products from the after market (other than gear set up, maybe?) Any of the rear ends you suggested should fullfill your requirements. By the bye; I have a newly installed Moser 12 bolt in my TT Iroc and will definatly check the set up before running due to all of the hoopla over gear noise in the after market rear ends.
Moser 9'' here, 4.30:1 with 35 splines, Detroit Locker in a M6 car and i'm very satisfied except that the Locker is a little rough for street use and DD (It clunks a lot in parking lot but traction is great). On the other hand, when I go to the track, I don't have to worry about breaking side gears or gear whine like 12-bolt guys (6500 rpm clutch dump with 28x10.5 MT slicks). It's heavy but just ad more horsepower and forget about it. If you buy a 12-bolt, just get a spool because posi units are the weak point.
