Default Moser 12 Bolt Axle bearing order...Please Help!!!

Does anyone know the order that the spacer and bearings go on the axels for the moser 12 bolt? I have the c-clip eliminator axels. The bearings came with a spacer in the box. And what is the press ring?? where does that go? Also does anyone know if an axle seal goes in the housing? Sorry for all the questions but this thing is giving me a headache and I have no instructions or a way of getting a hold of moser right now....thanks guys

the spacer your talking about IS the press ring! if you stand the axle on the floor (wheel side down) the bearing goes on then the press ring goes on. when you have the bearing and press ring pressed on the axle make sure the tech or mechinist knows to put the pressure of the press on the press ring, or the 6-8 tons of force will destroy the bearing! also is there a small groove on the outside of the bearing? the small groove goes to the outside of the axle.

if you have ANY more questions feel free to ask!

You can press the bearing off using a bearing splitter.

Looks like this:

That got tricky for me because my press (20 ton Harbor Freight unit) wasn't big enough to handle the axle in the inverted position. I had to make a jig to hold the axle (some angle iron welded together) in order to press on the end of the axle to get the bearing off. So depending on your press, it can be a bit of a pain. I have successfully removed bearings intact with my jig...

its not recomended to re-use a bearing or press ring. but i have used the same press ring twice so far, and its still holding the axle in.

a way to check would be to watch the pressure gauge and be at or real close to the same amount of froce when u repress the same bearing and press ring. if its less i would take it off and get a new bearing.

remember...the bearing and press ring are what hold the axle in the rear end!

Thanks alot guys! I successfully pulled them off! Now Do I have to buy the whole new bearing to get a new press ring? Or can I just buy a press ring by itself.....I tried going to local parts store but no one could help me out. Couldn't find the part number, any suggestions?

i think you have to buy a new bearing to get a new press ring, but im not 100%. wouldnt hurt to buy a new bearing so you have an extra incase one of them went to hell and no one had them in stock...its happened to me .
