i was thinking about repairing mine but wouldnt expect it to last much longer since im getting faster pretty quick. i would have rather spent the money on something else but i believe in doing things right the first time so you dont have to go back and do them again. i just ordered a strange dana s60 and upgraded from my previous 3.42 to 3.73..im anxious to get it in a cupple weeks...good luck and i feel your pain!

torco make some of the best oils their 85w140 oil is what I use and you don't have to add any additive with their gear oil (read the back of the container). I also use it in the pro mod that we run it's recomended by Mark Whillams (the best in the biz). And if your willing to spend the money then get a 12 bolt with the ABS I have not had any problems with mine other than gear brakage from a shitty gear install.

f body central a shop here in maryland ordered it. you can get them directly from strange if you wanted tho.. heres a link with more info on the dana.. just so you know the dana itself is cheaper and stronger then the strange 12 bolt but but you have to buy a shoter driveshaft for it to fit it only ends up being a little bit more expensive in the end but the strength gain vastly outweighs its extra cost!

well I really intend to retain my ABS, and the companies I have talked to have said to make a custom reluctor ring would be nearly 500 dollars. So unless anything changes I think a 12 bolt is my only option.

the 9 in and dana 60 as well as moser 12 bolt do not include or have the option of the reluctor ring needed for ABS (only the strange 12 bolt has it as an option)
you can have one custom made; then fabricate your own bracket for the sensors, and then mount everything along the drive shaft. the OEM(10 bolt) setup has the reluctor ring mounted in the carrier. I believe that is what strange does as well but not really sure. Since I have not finished researching the subject.(my rear is still in one? piece)

Does your rear have a really high pitched unbearable whine while driving? (Note this is not tranny whine)
