Default Torsen t-2 Differential

What would a new Torsen t-2 Differential cost? I just bought a new torsen off of ebay for 227.50 shipped to my door including bearings. ??Good Deal??

That really depends on the unit. There's a T-2, a T-2HD
and a T-2R in order of goodness, base to race. The T-2
is somewhat better than what came in the car stock, by
Zexel's description (which is unreliable in some details,
but still). HD adds some beef, R even more beef plus the
highest bias ratio limit. If you got an R for that price you
did real well, it's a $500 piece. HD about $400 and I do
not know street pricing on the base T-2. Should be higher
than takeoff F-body chunks which are not real high-value
(seen them go for under $100 and gave mine away to a
buddy with the stock ring gear attached and pinion too).

Zexel's web pages discuss the differences some, though
a factoid here & there are not entirely true.
