Question

Spool?

ok im not totally stupid when it comes to rearends but im not the smartest either. i know there is single traction, limited slip, and a locker and i know what they are and do but what is a spool and what does it do? i tried searching but my computer freezes after a few minutes.

a spool locks both axles together unlike a locker or LS rear when you go around a turn it will let the tires turn at diffrent speeds

does anyone make a mini spool for the 7.5 inch 10 bolt?

nope, and putting anything like that in a 10 bolt is useless, the ring gear is the weak point, you put a spool in there you would just be putting more stress on the gears.

Yes, there is a mini spool made for the 7.5'' ten bolt. I won't debate the merits of actually using one, but it does exist.

if you plan on driving it on the street, dont put a spool in it. your car wont want to turn worth a damn and neither will your 7.5 after it ***** on ya trying to get it out of the drive way.
