For a 380 RWHP car is a 12 bolt overkill?

I wouldnt bother buying a 12 bolt at your level of power or vehicle usage. I had a stock 10 bolt w/3.73s and an aluminum cover in my 500rw NA stroker and never had a single problem. I drove it hard on the street every day, and drove it hard at the track (although only on drag radials).

How people break multiple 10 bolts with mildly (or stock) modified cars is beyond me. I know that they *can* break, but come on. It must be a *special* driving style they possess. ??

Save yourself ALOT of money (and potential problems.....noise, vibrations, etc..) and stick with what you have. If by chance you do break it, spend $200 and buy a used 10 bolt, or a few hundred on new gears and an aluminum cover. I was not a believer in the aluminum covers, but after seeing the abuse my 10 bolt has taken without failing, I gotta believe they do help to some degree.

No GP, no special friend prices, this is what it cost to buy a Moser. Then a Denny's DS is around 400 by the time your done.

Holy crap I guess it does add up direct from moser, I guess I am glad I shopped around before I bought mine.
