S60 is by far the best bang for the buck. no clearance or driveline angularity issues.

no, you cannot use your stock driveshaft. The S60 requires a shaft that is 1.625" shorter. As far as the debate, the 60 is heavier but is more efficient with its pinion closer to the centerline of the ring gear.

Id opt moser or S60. Thers a reason why the 4x4 guys run them with 44in plus inch tires. Plus their cheaper than 9inches. Last quote I had from moser was around 1795$ with spool, 35spline axles blah blah.

Are there clearance issues with the 9"? BFH mod required?

Been there, done that.

Had a S60, got a 9" and no more problems. A lot more gear choices as well. Picked up 0.75 MPH with the 9" over the S60, so much for more hp to turn a 9".

9" is a proven design and it's been around for a while. I have not had any issues with clearance with my 9". The S60 is a custom housing made for strange. I had a very bad experience with my S60 and I am less than impressed with Stranges build quality.

Who puts it together is just as important as who makes it.

I recommend the 9".

My .02

don't think so, I'm pretty sure they are slowing down on their fabrication and focusing on tuning and off the shelf items.
