Default 373's installed!!!!!!!

some on here have said that gears only pick your car up 1-2 tenths, let me tell you i picked up my car yesterday and had 373's installed (2000 TA, factory 273's) and its crazy how much faster it is, my buddys turbo 240 used to put about a 1/2 car on me and now i put 3-4 cars on him, it had to pick up around 1/2 sec.

my mods are long tubes, ory, single chamber dumped, diablo tuner, lid, taylor 9mm wires, tr6's.

i am extremely happy and would suggest this change to anybody and i have a coan converter and it will be installed monday!

Well I did 3.73 but i had the 3.23 factory, so I bet your going to pick up alot of power. Some times its hit or mis, I did not get a better et but I picked up 2mph. I know some people who went .5 better et, so like I said hit or mis. It sounds like you got a HIT

I had 3.23 on my A4 and changed to 3.73 not much of a difference but you can feel the car pulling harder. I ran against a 2002 Z twice once with 3.23 and once with 3.73 both times I pulled away but it pull away faster with 3.73 >: )

323 to 373 is only half a turn slower thats why you 323 guys arent feeling much 273 to 373 like i done is a whole turn slower = big difference.i gained 1.5 sec at the track doing all bolt ons and 3.73s.now grt some sticky tires and hold on

I'm thinking I need to dump my 2.73's and make the switch to 3.73's. I'm hoping to get a converter soon too. I'll try and get some 1/4 mile times after each install, unless I get them both done at the same time, haven't decided yet.

Back when I had my 97' ss lt-1 I went from 273 to 373 and you could definetly feel the diffrence. Let me put it to you this way, I would lay the smack down on brand new 2000 z-28 and trans am's ls-1's. Before the install those same cars would leave me in the dust and after the install I would have like a 2-3 car lengths on them from a stand still.
