Mods are in sig, getting a 12 bolt with either 4.30s or 4.56s, I am leaning towards 4.56s, but am concerned about running too much gear. So, if you have 4.56s, I need your help, opinions, etc. I basically need a pep talk, and to be talked into the 4.56s...

MMS stage IIx Heads, MMS 218 cam. SLP headers with offroad pipes. Borla catback with biggest plate. Fast Toys Ram Air, Direct-flo lid, whisper MAF ends, descreened and ported MAF, cutdown EGR, ASP pullies. Spohn Tq arm, BMR SFC's, LCA's, APHR. McCloud single disc clutch. Moser 12 bolt, 33 splie, HD posi, ABS/TCS, 4.56 gears. Hooser QTP's 28*11.5". Car dynoed 381.08HP and 368.44 corrected, uncorrected 311.00HP and 300.68TQ.
I have only gotten to drive the at the track once since the rear end and H/C were installed. My best was a 12.7@109, launched at about 6500 rpms because when I tried a 6k clutch dump I bogged. All in all I love these 4.56 gears, but I am going to change them come spring. Next season I'm going to run 4.88's If everything goes right, I will be just a hair below the rev limiter when I hit the traps. Of course if I ever go to a sea level track I'll be screwed and need to shift to 5th.
