Anybody actually dynoed 10 bolt -vs- 12 bolt -vs- 9" drivetrain losses???
I know there are formulas, but anybody got any actual dyno numbers showing actual HP differences between the available rearends? Thanks, Shawn

In my '98 T/A, I swapped from my 10-bolt with 3.42's to a Strange 12-bolt with 3.42's, and I did not lose ANY HP from the swap. The 12-bolt itself doesn't seem to lose any HP, just the step up in gearing that people usually take.

Stock 3.42's swapped to Strange 3.73 and lost 5hp/10tq at rear wheels

Same dyno, 9 months apart, 6-speed 2001 Camaro SS:
Stock 10-bolt w/3.42's: 316 RWHP, 330 RWTQ
After Moser 9-inch w/3.70's: 330 RWHP, 342 RWTQ
This was using the stock PCM program, with just the speedometer calibration correction. The only other changes to the car were an additional 12,000 miles on the car (9,000 mi. on the first run, 21,000 miles on the 2nd run) and the addition of Kenny Brown subframe connectors... And those shouldn't add much horsepower!
