3.08 ratio! I see plenty of people upgrading to 3.23, 3.42, 3.73 etc. My car has the stock 2-series carrier with 2.73 gears. Has anyone gone with 3.08's? I guess they're more common in the GM trucks. It would make things easier since I could retain my seemingly good diff, yet get rid of the 2.73's. Thoughts?

I was thinking that. Did you just get a spacer, or are thicker gears available that just bolt on?
