Default Moser 9" and stock driveshaft

Ok so I have a moser 9" waiting to go up under my. Hopefully this weekend. My question is that I am wanting to use everything thats on my car right now. And the only thing aftermarket as far as suspsendion is BMR non-adj. LCA's and SFC's. So my question is will my stock aluminium drive shaft bolt right up? I have tried searching but it wont let you use 9" and plus search is down right now. I can remember about a month ago some guy was installing his 9" and he had to order a driveshaft but it was an isolated incident? Like I said before I jsut need to know will my stock driveshaft work?

Guess I can also ask if my LCA relo brackets will work with the LCA's thats on my car?

I know on an A4 you can use the stock driveshaft as long as you use a bastard u-joint. Thats what I'm doing for now. I forget the part number of it but you can get it at napa. As far as an M6 I'm not sure. Maybe someone else can help you out with that.

About the Relo Brackets, I bought some regular weld in BMR's for my old 10 bolt and I never got to put them on until I got the 9". No issues with installing them on the 9" though. Fit like a glove!

stock driveshaft will work. it depends on what yoke you have with the 9" it will probably be a 1350 but mine i think is a 1330 which has caps that is 1.062 diameter instead of 1.125 or 1.187,whatever they come with,i can't remember.

I'm not sure what yoke I have on the 3rd memeber. Its a junkyard 3rd. I bought the 1350 u-joint from napa. I'm hoping it will all just fall into place lol. And it looks like using standard length LCA's would pull the rearend foward from center? Mine are bolt-ons so I'm going to try them and see how they work.

Thats the conversion u joint that you probably got from napa. 1310 on one side, stock size / 1350 on the other for your third member yoke.

EPP states "1350 Conversion U-Joint (Napa Part # 240-0447) pressed onto driveshaft."

Yes, the Napa 240-0447 is the U joint to use if your third member has a 1350 yoke, and you are using the factory driveshaft. Bob

Yea I am using the stock driveshaft but have no idea about the yoke on the 3rd. Its not with me right now, getting the gears setup. I'll know tomorrow if everything is going to work.
