4.10 OR 3.73???

Ok guys, you decide for me, there are many goods and bads for both, tell me what to do! Its an M6 by the way!!!

I voted 4.10s, but please don't put ET streets on it cause you'll break them. With a manual LS1 I would be thinking 12 bolt. You'll eventually get your mods up to a point where you'll need either a clutch or ET streets.

I would go 4.10s my favorite mod to date. You can actually feel the difference.

if you dont go with the 4.10 your nuts. i first went with 3.73 because i did'nt listen to people. well....now i went to the 4.10's and it felt like another 30hp was added to the car. 4.10 all the way. use the force luke, search your feelings you know this to be true. goodluck man.

With the stock tire size, what is the highest mph you can hit (with 4:10's) in 4th before you would have to shift 5th?

in 4th mi per hr before hit 5th, 115mph not much more.

So Crazy - you trying to get the edge on me - huh?? That means 2 people I know are looking at gears soon. I recomed the 3.73 because my friend in Maryland put 4.10 in his car and he hates them. Yes, you will certainly get more "bang for the buck" type feeling with a 4.10, but you sacrifice some gas mileage and noise level in the car. Just my thouhgts.

Looks like I'll have to get some new mods to keep pace with ya. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

4.10's. When my car was bolt on I'd go through the traps @ 6000 rpm in 4th. I run 26 x 11.50 x 15 ET Streets. Wouldn't waste my money putting 4.10's in the stock rear, it won't last for long with a M6 if your car hooks. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> I could not tell any difference in gas milage over the 3.42's, not that I cared about that anyway. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
