Default buying a moser 12,... how do i know what ABS set-up i need? and a few ?'s...

ive got enough for my moser now but i am not sure if i need 3 channel abs or 4 channel w/ tcs.

My car is a 95 T/A, it origionally had TCS, but the Traction control system has been taken off the current rear end, and it does have ABS. so what do i need 3 or 4 channel. how can i tell what it is now. I want to keep ABS but i dont want TCS.

Also what are the exciter rings? good idea to have them installed w/ purchase?

please help

-Billy

Look at you rear, if it has an electrical plug in on the top of the center, it is a 3 channel, if it has one at each end, it is a 4 channel.

FWIW, all tcs cars were 4 channel. So unless someone went through a whole lot of trouble, you still have a 4 channel car.

The exciter rings are located at the ends by the brakes, and have teeth on them. You can save $100.00 by reusing the ones from your old rear-end. Bob

I've never seen anyone convert a four channel to a three channel. I don't know what would have to be changed in the computer system, but I'll bet it would be a real hassle. I'd just order it without any ABS or ABS/TCS, then you won't have ABS and you won't have TCS. Bob
