do i really need a 9"? hey all... i have been doing some research on rears, and i have it narrowed down to the 2: strange 12 bolt, or moser 9"
i have an a4, and will never see any more than 800 rwhp/high 9's in the years to come.. i just love how the 12 bolt is a "bolt in" design, and how i can still have posi, and its a GM rear.
The only things keeping me away from the 9" are:
-no more ABS
-only good options are spool and truetrac
-not just "bolt in"
-Ford
i have heard how a spool drives on the street, which kinda drives me away. and i have heard mixed reviews on the truetrac.
the main thing i am looking for is reliability. will the 12 bolt be the best choice?

whats the code from the factory for 3 channel and 4 channel? i'm having a hard time figuring this one out.... thanks.

The Truetrac is good for up to 600 rwhp, past that you either need to go with the Locker or the spool. Bob

well now i know for sure that i have 3 channel, so it looks like the 9" isnt an option....
anyway to keep ABS w/ 3 channel?
