I also think it's a great mod. I got it on a pro 5.0 and I love it. Only thing I have to compare it to was a hurst billet plus that was on the car when I got it and it's way better.

Get the Qwik Stick. It's basically the same thing but $10 cheaper. Speed Inc, LM Performance, Quick Time Performance, and Stealth Performance sell them for around $39.95

I had a short stick on my car when I had the T-56 still in it. It was on the stock shifter and I LOVED it. Lou lives real close to me and I went to his house to pick it up and he even installed it for me (not that it's that hard or anything) I just saw that "Qwik Stick" and it's LAME. A cheap knockoff if you ask me. Lous piece is much nicer and his has been out WAY longer than that crappy piece. it's not even bent like Lous is. GET THE SHORT STICK

I also installed the LSS after missing far too many shifts with the stocker. Shifts are much shorter and far less sloppy. For 50 bucks, can't go wrong considering most aftermarket shifters like the Pro 5.0 are gonna run 150+. Honestly even for 10 bucks more than this qwick stick, I'd rather give lou the money. He's a great guy to deal with, and its nice to see a regular joe come up with a good idea and make a few bucks off it.

LSS is a great mod! I put it on my car with an aftermarket hurst shifter and it works awesome. I liked it way better than the shifter I got from hurst too. I think I have a pic or 2 of it in the "new paint" albumn

Re: lou's short stick feedback, yey or ney
so the best shifter setup would be a pro 5.0 or ripper but use lou's short stick? then what is the point of the ripper or 5.0? stronger base/stem than the stock one I would assume? would the lou's short stick allow for an aftermarket ****..the threading is the same?
