So GM doesn't make a 12-bolt any more ? My 396 Chevelle & my 454 Monte Carlo both had em & they were dead reliable & never made a sound . Why can't some one step up to the plate & sell one that will bolt into our F-bodies without any mods for a decent price ?

I feel that the torque arm mount places a lot of stress on the 12 bolt housings. My Moser 12 bolt in my '99 Z28 was dead quiet until I took it to the track and came out of the hole at 4000 rpm. i hear this all the time from other people with Moser and Strange rears, so it is not an isolated incident with just my car or with just Moser. If you put a Moser 12 bolt into a '70 Chevelle, you can beat the snot out of it and you won't get any gear noise.
Because of this, I recommend the Moser 9 inch. The torque arm mount does not seem to stress the housing on the 9 inch, as they do not pick up gear noise after being subjected to drag strip use like the 12 bolts do. Bob

Don't think they make a trutrac that will accept 35 spline axles. I think it is only available with the detroit locker. I tried to get a tru-trac with my 35 spline axles and was told they don't have them.
