What do you have to assemble yourself for that price?

Where you shoppin holmes?

How did you get 35 splines? And why? I only see 31 as the beefiest option for the 9 inch.

Or anywhere else for that matter

I'm wondering how my duals are going to play into this. I just sent Bob a PM

I believe you can get 28 or 31 splines w a locker or posi

if you scroll down the products page you will see 9 inch w/ full spool
you can get these with 33 35 and if I'm not mistaken you can get 40 splines..

man 35 IMO is overkill unless you are going to the track, everyone talks about breaking 10 bolts but a friend of mine brought up a good point tonight.
He has a 8" chevy 10 bolt and had put that thing through hell, some track time and that would be a different story, but it held up with ease.....

I really do like the look of that M9 housing....it is so sweet! Don't think I need it though

What kind of numbers are you putting down and what are you doing with your car that you have broken two ten bolts so far?

1)They send it to you the same way moser does. 2) I went with a custom builder on ebay. He can build it the way you want it.
3)If you get a Detroit locker, 35 spline is the only axles that will work. I liked this guy because he builds it the way you want it (You pick the brand of the gears, 3rd member, axles etc....) and his prices are about the best I could find.

The Moser locker can indeed be had with 35 spline axles. If someone orders the locker as an option from my website, that is the way that I order it.
Update: I just added the 35 spline option to my website for the locker. Thanks! Bob

Bad luck? I dunno man. The first was quite possibly the original. It's a used car so you never know. The left diff gear went bad. Nice popping and clicking taking slow left corners. I took it out before it left me stranded.

The second one was out of my buddies 02 SS with around 66k on it. 4:10 gears installed around 50k. I made about 9 passes (different days) and broke off the line on the tenth pass. You tell me how this happened....

My car makes about 505HP. On the dyno we did 441RWHP. It's nothing insane and a 9 inch isn't needed, but I'm not gonna do this again.

Changed my mind, I decided to go with the Strange Pro Nodular third member instead of the aluminum. I herd they are much better for a heavier, street/track type of car.

I don't know about the Strange case but the Moser thru bolt aluminum case must be modified in order to run the 35 spline Detroit locker.

Detroit locker is available with the 31 spline axles, that's what is in my ride. I've always understood the the aluminum housing should be used only in strict drag cars.

The aluminum housing can be used on any street driven car, the Moser alum housing has a thru bolt design that is very strong. Bob
