Rear Ends? This might be a stupid question but it's one that I have to ask.How many of you out there running a a-4 that has actually busted your rear?And I don't mean you have heard I mean that have done it?I think maybe it maybe mostly the t-56's with this problem mostly launching at a high rpm.I just find it hard to spend 2500 for a rear when mine holds when I can spend that money on faster mods. Re: Rear Ends? my friend bent an axle in his bone stock a4 ss. another guy in a a4 ss broke somethin in posi. it ran 12.70's and had 4,000 miles. it happens but not a lot.

Re: Rear Ends? just broke mine a couple weeks ago <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> pinion gear snapped off at the yoke. i think it was the victim of a little wheel hop. you should be fine if you arent in the 11s. if you are, just be careful <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Rear Ends? yes I was just curious I was planning on doing the h/c on my car at the first of the yr.and right now om still running my stock rear except the gears have been changed too 3.73's but on spray im running 11.40's and the rear hasn't gave me any problems and I hate too spend money on it when I can use it elsewhere
