A-4 REAR GEAR RECOMENDATIONS

A-4 REAR GEAR RECOMENDATIONS I have a 2002 Z28 with most all bolt ons. It has a 224 XER Cam and a Vig. 2800. My best run is 11.805 @ 114.47 with a 1.68 60 ft. Do you think I would gain anything going with a 3.73 or even 4.10 ?

What RPM do you want to be crossing the line?

Re: A-4 REAR GEAR RECOMENDATIONS i say for a max effort (at the expense of daily driving, esp on the highway) go with a 26" tire and 4.10 gear. 3.73 is a decent compromise i also believe. not a lot of gain other than mph b/w 4.10 and 3.73 that i have seen. i love myu 4.10s from a roll though and it tightened the convertor somemore as well.
