Also what kind of differential?? like a spool or torsen? etc..

lastly the strange caliper brakes, how light are those compared to OEM rotors and stock calipers?

because if all of this is what I wanna hear, this is a differential WORTH spending $$ on on

this particular car has Delrin plastic bushings. Delrin is a natural lubricant vs. steel. this setup as well as my bolt-on drag arb version are available with Delrin, bronze oil-lite, or roller bearing. the pictured assy is available in kit form, and the bolt-on version fits my 9 inch and some other rears.

Moser M9 Housing with ends welded on and torque arm brackets welded on, minus control arm brackets. 48.5 lbs.

We had the housing above made for an '06 GTO, and we need to locate the lower control arms ourselves. This is why the above rear does not have lower control arm brackets already installed on it. Bob

are you sure about that? I havnt really handled a spool, Bit I think you mean the bare spool was 8 not what it saved over a turtrac.

When me and SSshawn@newera put the 4:30s in my car. The true trac was really heavy, he warned me about when it poped out to be ready to hold good
and I wasn't ready for that thing almost droped it, at it was like 6ft up on the lift I looked it up when we posted about it on a local site
"A truetrac with ring gear bolted on weight 56.330 pounds"

I cant see how a spool with a ring gear would weight 48#s

Oops, I forgot about this thread..
I haven't installed the 9" yet, but I already removed the 10 bolt. It was ~157 full of fluid with no brakes.

But everyone already knew how much a stock rearend weighed.. sorry that doesn't help..hah
