I have whats in my sig... and I just bought a 3.42 rear Actually I just about to post a thread to see who has this set up and if they like it or not. Either way the 2.73 are way to doggish out of the hole!!! Although I say this and I cant keep the tires from frying if I spank it off of the line
Dude, get off my setup :pGive me a PM when you get it to the track on some decent tires. I wanna know what the difference between the Vig and my Yank is. Thanks.

Stu
Not a problem if I can remember... A buddy of mine with the same set up except 3.23's ran something between 11.9 - 12.0

I just went from 2.73s to 3.42s w/A4.It's like driving a totally different car,i'm turning 1900 rpms @ 60 mph and 2200 rpms @ 70 mph.I haven't checked my mileage yet,i'm not to concerned about mileage with 3.42s.

Seems to be a very good combination for the A4.I love my 3.42s
thats high rpms....i push 2k rpms, at 80mph....but then again, I have 2.73's with a stock tranny, no fancy convertor

OfficerZ28,

2.73s are good for cruising at 80+ mph.I usually don't go over 70mph around here(seattle)to much traffic,to many cops.

I didn't like the feel of 2.73s @ 60 and 70 mph,i couldn't use the compression of the motor to control the car,i was always putting on my brakes when traffic would slow a little bit,now i have better control and i'm not braking all the time.I would have loved to red line the car w/2.73s though....
