what gear do I have

I was looking for my gear size on my inside door paner sticker,how do i know which gear i have.I saw the number GU5 with all the parts identification #'s.

If its GU5...then you have the 3.23's.....I have an A4 and GU5 which is the code for 3.23's...if you have a GU2....then its 2.73.....

hell, got a buddy here runnin 11.80's with heads, exhaust, 3800 stall, a few lil things and his own programing on 400hp with the stock 7.5 2.73's on slicks with a STOCK cam

ok now that i found out that i have 3.42's would it really be worth it to get 3.73's?would i even feel the difference?i dont want to go much higher than 3.73's though cuz i like the freeway and from rolls are fun too.anybody help?thanx

Almost everyone I've seen that has gone from a 3.42 to a 3.73 has wished that they had used 4.10's. The difference is probably not worth the $$$ to go to a 3.73. Good luck! (though, I'm not a fan of 4.10's....the small pinion gear is somewhat fragile)
