As Jason said, mine ended up being a little different deal as the same week it was going into production I found some rims that could be ordered with a custom back space that I liked and wanted to have the rear end length shortened.
Luckily Jason figured out a way to allow that to happen. I was sweating it that Monday morning before I called him. (Mine had the watts link so I did not know if they would be able do anything for me or not)

Yep
That is what I wanted, I posted a picks of mine earlier but here is another.

I also bought my Billet Specialties rims from them so it worked really smoothly.

Now with the car up on the lift and all the parts laying around here I almost get a woody walking by them. (Wish I had more time to work on it right now)

Yes the $8000 came very quickly lol. First in my mind I only wanted to spend like $5000 at most but then I convinced myself I needed other **** so I went ahead and ordered it too. PM me if you want to see what exactly I ordered. Can't go wrong with MWC!

Also their subframes are weld in I believe.

well im going with a 4 channel wavetrac with watts link, lcas, driveshaft, I added up everything I needed on there price list they sent me and it came out to 5500 or so, but I may be double stacking some stuff cause I am not really sure what all parts are what on that list LOL. I will probably upgrade to the aluminum unit to keep the weight down but we will see how the pricing goes once I call them. have to keep the budget in mind when you are doing the ENTIRE car I think im already going to have to put off rebuilding the tranny for now but it still works fine and I think it will hold the 418 for a little while LOL. I would love to narrow mine 3 inches but i cant afford to buy more rims right now and if it bothers me that much I can always have it shortened later on down the road.

I gotta say LS1 tech has saved me THOUSANDS all ready and without it this build would not be possible or would of taken two years instead of one. I managed to get a complete 418 off a member here for 6k so that right there saved thousands on itself and just about every part I have purchased has been off the for sale thread, the rear end will probably be about the only thing I am buying new simply because knowone wants to sell there MWC rear end LOL.

one thing I couldnt tell on the pricing list they gave me was it said 3 channel abs and then 4 channel upgrade, not sure if I have to add both those prices together for the 4 channel setup or not

did you ask? I make it a habit to always ask if people do military discounts, it will ususally make me decide who i want to do business with, and I think most all tech vendors offer some kind of discount after all us military guys truly are the biggest customers in the performance parts world, we are always deployed and have nothign better to spend our money on LOL. the car is the one main thing we can take with us when we get moved around.

but as with most business they simply dont OFFER the discount you have to ask for it, the average I have seen is 10% at most places.

The one thing that does suck is I wish you could get around having to pay taxes on parts when your deployed LOL but the guvment ganna get there money first LOL.

You either need your rear end set up for 4ch or 3ch based off what your vehicle is. If it has a button on the dash it is 4ch.

yeah i for sure know I have a 4 channel but in your pricing it says 4 channel upgrade is another 100 dollars is that on top of the 3 channel setup or completly different price? its not a big deal I guess I wasnt understanding the list of options very well, cause the first time I added it up I had added in parts that were already comming with the setup cause i wasnt sure if it was something I needed.

I know once i call and tell you exactly what Im wanting you will be able to give me a price so its no real biggi.

Curious on the MWC configuration. Can the 3rd member be removed without removing the torque arm? I can not tell for sure in any of the pics.

Thinking it might be nice to have a 2nd one with a spool and a specific gear for the strip and use the Wavetrac for track work and street.

You have to remove the torque arm to get the 3rd member out.

Nope one or the other on the 3ch or the 4ch. Sorry for the confusion.

Congrats to Brian Black (SMKN TA 95) on his win in the SYF race at the LS Fest, dominating the competition with Midwest Chassis & Performance rear end and full suspension. With a 1.2x 60' 5.15 @ 141 in the 1/8th mile.
