Now I do use 16X8's with 295/50/16's out back for winter driving, but that's it! <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" />

So I am very excited <img border="0" alt="[gruffy cottonball]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_gruffy.gif" /> at the prospect of having a ultimate straight line tire for the 17 inch rims! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Are you saying you run et streets from March through October? Are you already running the 17" et street? This is from a post on LS1 Forum. Here is the post. http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread...hreadid=215772
I would love to run et streets all year, I don't drive the car in the winter so that's not a problem. Rain could be a problem, but I try to avoid that also. But the way it came out on this post, they just don't last. That's what I'm asking. See the post by NHRAFORMULA00. Also, look on the 2nd page of the post at Shamrock98TA's response. This is where I got this information.

E/T streets will last you easily 5k miles. A freind of mine drove around for about 3k in the summer daily on some he purchased more than half used.

For a true daily driver, stick to the drag radials. But for the occasional driver with a 12 bolt, this wouldnt be a bad idea. The *** end of the car wouldnt sway around like the 15-16" bias ply tires with 4X4 sidewalls.
