Default LT1 TO LS1 rearend swap

I'm going to be doing a complete rearend swap from an LS1 to my LT1. The LS1 rearend is complete with brakes and all. What do I need to do besides bolt it in? I read a thread that did it the other way around. I'm just wondering if it's going to be too much trouble.

I believe you just need to bolt it in and you get 1" bigger rear brakes!

Are you wanting to keep the LS1 brakes? If you keep the LT1 brakes you just gotta switch the brake backing plates and bolt it in.

I was thinking about it. What would I need to do to keep the LS1 rear brakes? If too much a of a pain, I'll just keep the LT1's.

If it's a complete rear, with brake backing plates, brakes and all, the only thing you will need is the parking brake cable and the brackets that bolt to the rearend. The lines should bolt right to the block from the main line that comes from the MC. That's if I remember correctly. It's been a while since I did it...

If it is a complete rearend, then you should have the metal brake line hooked up to both calipers, all you need to do is hook your rubber line from the car to the metal line on the rearend. You should keep the LS1 brakes, bigger is always better.
