Is there enough room on 12 bolt axles to install 3" studs without removing the bearings and backing plates? Weld's quality control sucks, 4 of my 12 1/2" lugnuts have the holes drilled off center, and one of my wheel studs got chewed up, one of the lugnut shanks is bent ~1/16", and I can't thread a lugnut up on there. Is there enough room to get a 3" stud in there with the backing plates on? Thanks, Shawn

Just saw your post. I have a Strange and the only way I can see is to remove the backing plates UNLESS your car has TCS (4 ch), in which case you might be able to remove the sensor and be able to work on the studs through the plate.
