TCS question
When the traction control engages when you low traction light comes on, is the gas pedal suppose to spring back into the no throttle position? I never really noticed it till tonight cause of the snow.
If you have the Traction Control System (NW9)
there is a "Accelerator Control and Adjuster"
servo that will back off the throttle for you
(like it or not) when it detects low traction.
You can see the schematic on page 5-114 of the
Helm manuals. I found a way to defeat it
nicely (keeping the ABS portion of the traction
control but ditching the anti-throttle action)
and now I am waiting for parts to make a more
ready-for-prime-time installation.
