8 hours of bleeding the hydralics and nothing!!
8 hours of bleeding the hydralics and nothing!! This whole clutch install has been a huge problem. Im sure most have seen my post over the last 3 days.
Car will not go into any gear with clutch pushed in.
We Bled And bled the hydralics. Still wont go into gear.
Took master off car and reverse bleed it.
Connected it back and still nothing after bleeding for hours.
Adjusted master all the way out and in and it still does the same thing.
CLutch was installed right, lined up perfectly.
I even bought a brand new slave today and that still didn't help it.
I give up.
Old setup: Ram 402/6130 combo Ram adjustable master.
New setup. Ram brand new 402/980 1 year old adjustable master. Disk and pressure plate was purchased from summitracing.
There can not possibly be any air in the system, there is absolutely no way.
I am thinking of just having the car towed and put a new z06 clutch in at a dealershi[, I dont care if it really cant hold my power I am fed up.

i am helping with the install and i am SOO confused about the hole thing. Everything was done twice so i know it has to be right.

Re: 8 hours of bleeding the hydralics and nothing!! Try adjusting the m/c out about as far as it will go and see if this helps. Is the clutch engaging right off the floor?
Re: 8 hours of bleeding the hydralics and nothing!! The clutch isnt even engaging, I can' t force it into any gear. I think it might have a few turns left in it to turn out. I will try tomorrow.

I just installed my SPEC Stage II Yesterday and did the drill out mod, when i put the line back onto the M/C i tested it by pumping the piston, and sure enough the line leaked. I think the drill bit got too hot and melted the linning. This could be your problem, but then again you say you have good pressure right?
Re: 8 hours of bleeding the hydralics and nothing!! Yes I did the drill mod last year on my old setup so it s not leaking. We found the problem, the flywheel had to much taken off and the flywheel needs shimmed. I had to have my car off my buddies lift so its at another shop now and I am going to allow them to do it.
