help me quick!!!!
ok i no all of u guys r gunna say try a search but i did and i could not find anything that was exacly what i was looking for.It has to do with 3.73s vs 4.10s.ok so my question is, lets say there r to ls1 m6s with the same hp, stock or 450whp it dont matter. and they raced from 0-155. at which speed would the one with 3.73s start to pull or catch up? as in i no the 4.10s r better for the quarter mile but at which speed when racing on the street would u wish u had 3.73s if u had 4.10s?

5th gear in the 4.10 car tops out at 150. both cars equal, dead hook perfect launch and shifts from both drivers, the 4.10 car will beat the 3.73 car to 150. the 3.73 car will only have the ability to reach a higher speed, but it wont get there first. 6th gear in these cars is useless at WOT.

The 4.10s have a mechanical torque advantage over the 3.73s and all things being equal would win the race until such time that it ran out of gear.
Having said that, in the real world there's not that much difference but you'd probably be happier with the 4.10s as they will make a more noticeable difference compared to what you have now. Most of us don't see the kind of speeds you are talking about very often anyway--not really safe on public roadways.
