which converter overall in all of the stall ranges do you think is the btter converter?

Damn dude. I just voted, and the results are 50/50. Looks like you may have a hard decision. In my opinion, the Vig is the ****. It hits pretty hard, and you are DEFINITELY gonna need tires for good 60ft times.

I volte Vig out of those 2 but for the money right now id go with TCI Super Street fighter 3500 Cant beat it for 550.00.

The vigs have a decent history of getting the job done. TCS is newer, but guys running them are putting up good numbers too.

However, I've seen the inside of both a TCS and a Vig so I would buy the TCS.

TCS all the way. I've had vig and yank converters.
I just switched from a ST3600 to a TCS4200. My yank bent my fly wheel and broke all of the mounting feet off the converter?!? Why I dont know.I have cam and ported heads with stock valves,4.10 and ET drags. My only suspension mods are a set of metco LCA's and front roll bar! With the Yank ST3600 my best 60' was a 1.574"dead hook". A couple of weeks latter I went to the track with the TCS 4200, every thing the same. I cut a 1.566"spin" 1.513 and a 1.501 before the TCS took out my stock rear. With ET drags, the 4.10's and the TCS 4200, I know there are some high 1.4's coming. I'll up date you as soon as my 12 bolt arrives. TCS is also sending me one of their beef-up trannys. So stay tuned. Just call DEREK @ TCS

I took out a Yank and switched to TCS. I went from a good convertor to a even better convertor and from no customer service at all to wonderful customer service. I was going to give my Yank to my son for his Z. However, he was so impressed with my TCS that he ordered himself a new TCS convertor. TCS has it's s..t together!

I was considering switching to a TCS but after last nights track results I'm sticking to my VIG!
