high speed vibration ?'s
high speed vibration ?'s I have an 02 ws-6 with only 5000 miles when i get up past 80 mph. my whole car is vibrating and if i go faster it get's worse.
Does anyone have any suggestion's as i am taking it in to the dealer tomorrow. Thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I know i got warped rotor's as when i brake the steering wheel vibrates, nothing new with gm rotor's, Could that be some of the high speed vibration?

Re: high speed vibration ?'s Make sure you have your Tires rechecked. I had new tires installed and the tire manager told me they where right and when I drover my car home . I took my car up to 80mph and the car did the same thing as yours. So I took the car back and made them rebalance the wheels on both sides and the problem went away. I even took the tire manager for a ride and took the car up to 135mph just to show him I was pissed and it worked. He had it fixed but he asked me wherer would I drive 135+ and I told him anywhere I wanted too. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: high speed vibration ?'s even w/ 3 diffrent sets of wheels and tires and mine still does that. but it does go away after 125+. im trying the DS re-balance next. then it's off with the rear end..

I took it to the dealer this morning they are going to re-balance my wheel's, ckeck the alignment because the car is pulling to the left and replacing mmy warped rotor's. Re: high speed vibration ?'s Check to see if the rear trans. bushing is worn (i.e. where the drive shaft yoke fits into);
if it's worn, you'll get wobble/vibration.
