Default 42/12 ratio. Are these 3.42's or 3.50's?

I am planning to buy some gears and a posi out of a '00 TA. There is a 42/12 stamped on the gears. That comes out to a 3.50 ratio. Is this a gm factory gearset?

Only thing close to that which would be a stock gear would be 3.42s which I believe is 41/12

ignore the stampings, and just count the gears.

42/12 = 3.5

The method is (ring tooth count / pinion tooth count)

You have 3.50's, unless you counted the teeth wrong...
