Exclamation Rearend for better gas

I guess i have a 3:23 rearend. at about 62 MPH my RPM's hit 2000. Is this normal?

Yes that is normal. If it had been an M6 car at 60 you would prob be just shy of 1500rpm.

What gearing does the M6 come from the factory with. 2.73 or 3.23?. At 75 im turning just about 1650 or 1700 rpms

M6's have 3.42's all years but 1993 (they had 3.23's, but different trans gearing).

i drove home today and the weirdest thing at 60 i was at 1500-1700 rpm

Having an A4, your rpms is going to be high. You don't have the extra gears an m6 does. That sounds perfect where your rpms are.

at 82mph i just hit 2000 rpms.....gotta love 2.73s

how is your acceleration? is it drastically reduced? do you get good gas mileage?

You sure those are 323? Thats what my 3.73 rear A4 car is at 60.
