Things are getting there slowly. Ran into a snag on Saturday. Spent all day just getting the bearings pressed on the axles and NAPA gave me the wrong conversion U-Joint. Getting the correct U-Joint on Monday.

Had to grind a bit of metal off the BMR TQ to make it fit and I had one of my adjustable LCA which was seized. All is well though. The TQ, LCAs, PHR and brakes (Lines, calipers and hand brake cables) are installed. Also filled the rear end with oil.

Whats left:

Install driveshaft and driveshaft loop.
Bleeding brakes.
Install sway bar.
Install wheels (Also found a screw in one of my tires/leaking air)
Align the whole rear end.

Well, it's all done. I can honestly say that this is the first time I drive the Hawk without any rear end noises.

The 9" raise the rear a little as well. Not sure I like it. Might have to remove the rear isolator.

Hmmm, thats weird....you think the spring perches were welded a little higher on the 9" or something? Kind of sucks. Yours doesn't look bad though. Mine is lowered about 1.5" so it will really be noticeable if the *** end is jacked up. I should have it back on the wheels this weekend and I'll know.

Glad you got yours in and running with no noise.

The slightly larger diameter axle tubes make them sit a little higher.

The torque arm looks cracked in the 3rd picture down at the top of the arm? Maybe it just looks like that

It's been like that since new. It never got any worse so I never really bothered with it. Should I?

My main concern is with the driver side adjustable LCA. the thing is completely seized. I wonder if we can only get one of those or do we have to get them in pairs?

I just couldn't tell if it was cracked or it was just the picture. With the 9" you will most likely want to go with a adjustable torque arm some day.

We can sell you just one control arm if needed, it would be $85.00 and seen here- www.umiperformance.com/2018

Let me know and I will be glad to help. thank you!

That is a LASERED cut for a CNC brake operation Our torque arm brackets or comprised of several CNC broke plates which is a much stronger design then multiple plates welded together.

Several CNC broke plates IS much different then multiple plates welded together .. when I last checked multiple and several have a very similar meaning. And from the customers picture it LOOKS as if his plates are separating on him, not sure, but maybe it is and something he should look at.. I was referring more to something that could have happened while he was grinding it to fit.

Good for him, it will work much better for his application and shouldn't require any grinding. The first few pictures looked like a non-adjustable to me.

I had to grind the bottom part ot the TQ arm close to the bolt. I couldn't align it since it didn't fit in the notch of the 9" bracket. The top I touched by accident with the grinder (My bad) but it didn't need to be grinded at all.

I had to trim the corners off of my torque arm also, they were hitting the same spot on the cast torque arm bracket. My Random Tech torque arm had long, square pads the bolts went through, I took about 1/4-3/8" off the corners and rounded out the sides and it fit like a glove and still had plenty of meat around the bolt hole. Easier to trim the TA then grind out that cast bracket...

Looks good. You might want to put a nice coat of POR-15 on it before you install it...
