This may sound funny but Iv never been explained the differences in yokes. Iv seen 1350 but never knew what it meant. I always thought it was the grade material and hardness of the yoke.
Guess ill need a 3 in drive shaft as Im running a safety loop
What are the hp ratings on the carbon fiber shafts?

The HP rating on the carbon shaft? I have no idea, and they never told me...about the only thing they said was that the joints would probably fail before the shaft did, and they also asked why in the hell I wanted it...when I told them my application, they kinda chuckled and said "most guys get them when they can't get anything else to hold the power...you don't need it, but if you really want it, we'd be happy to sell you one."

I got my Strange chromemoly shaft installed last night. Didn't drive it much but I did get it up to 70-75 mph to check for vibrations that lots of guys talk about here and mine seemed fine. No whining or noticeable vibrations that I could tell. Everything did feel and sound a tad different but nothing bad...I just chalked it up to having a new, bigger rear end, different shaft and different suspension setup.
As for the shaft, it was pretty good quality work. The welds looked nice and even, and everything fit snug as a bug on a rug. I just painted it and slapped it in. I had to with the A or X measurement(depending on who is making it) for 44 7/8". Seems to be right and the 3" OD fit nicely next to the exhaust pipe that had previously "touched" the stock aluminum shaft.
So far I would recommend the Strange, I will let you know how it does when I get it out on the highway though.

Thomas read post #23, I wouldn't have sold it to you if I didn't think it would work...the reason it was good for me, is I can pay my Father-in Law back. It cleared my loop fine, I also ran a 3.5" LPE shaft with a Spohn loop and it cleared....don't see why a UMI would be much different in size.

I didn't think you were, I just wanted too make sure you knew it would work. You should receive it on the 30th.
OP Sorry for the Highjack.
I would recommend PST or Strange for a dependable/durable DS.

this is the one to get, no issues with mine
I totally agree. We use and sell the pST 3.5" alum driveshaft that is rated at 1000 hp and comes with a lifetime warranty. It is the driveshaft that is in my Camaro which you can see in this video.
