HPS is doing a TH400 Conversion on one of our customers 2010 Camaro.
He recently purchased our Stage 5 Package from us producing 615rwhp and 601rwtq @ 10 psi with the 6 speed. Now he has decided he wants to race a little more often at the track.

Conversion consist of:
PTC TH400 with Tbrake
PTC FI Converter
PTC Flexplate
HPS Custom Transmssion Cross Member
HPS Custom One Piece Driveshaft

The TH400 is installed and best part of all, we were able to use the stock transmission X-member..

Also need to mention that at this past weekends race at Darlington for the IRS race, first pass off the trailer we ran a 10.97 and then the best pass of the day was a 10.87. Not bad for a Maggie on 10psi and a 6rib setup and Drag radials.

Was his camaro a M6 or a A6 ?? This was tried on a G8 but the car
wouldn't start w/o the A6 tcm plugged in, even though it wasn't
needed anymore.

 

This car was previously a M6.

The TH400 Conversion has been completed for appx. a month now. The first time out to the track with the new setup on drag radials we ended up breaking the sprag in the transmission. However with only 2 gears we managed to run a best of 10.89@ 130mph. We also added added a 75 shot of NOS and when leaving off the the line with the spray it would just smoke the tires. Same thing when we leave off the 2 step as well. Customer is getting a suspension upgrade as well as a few other goodies. Here is a pic of the interior where the shifter fits in the stock location.
