Trans leak

Are there any GM mechanics that can verify that this is common practice? Or is this just an example of them being lazy?

Yeah it's silicone. Me and this dealership are not on good terms right now. After getting into heated discussions with every manager there they say that they will drop the trans and re-seal it. But if they come to the determination that the bolt ons caused the leak then I will be charged the labor cost.
