Are V6 and V8 Fuel Pump Assemblies Different? How to tell them apart?
Hey there,
I have searched this site and others and haven't been able to find the answer I was looking for. I am in the process of doing an LS2 swap on my 1968 Camaro and will be using a 5th gen 6.2 pump for my fuel system modded by Vaporworx. I just picked up a fuel pump assembly from eBay, but want to be sure that it is what they say it is. The ad said it was from a 2011 Camaro with the 6.2 engine. The part number on the top is "KAFUS 13575886", but I cannot find my number anywhere online for a V8 Car, or a V6 car for that matter.
I have looked online with pictures of both, and visually they look the same. Is there anyway to tell what pump is which?
Thanks,
Ryan
