I have a 2010 camaro SS. Was cammed then dropped a valve and motor is junk now. Talked with tuner and he said the cheapest and most reliable setup would be a 6.0 iron block and supercharger. I found a ly6 with ls3 heads dude said it holds 600whp stock no problem. He didn’t give me an exact supercharger setup so i talked to some people and think i’m going to go with a m122. They are water cooled from the inside so i won’t need to find room for an intercooler which i don’t really want to have to make room for one because after replacing my bumper with a zl1 bumper i realized how tight of a fit it is up front. My question is do i need to change anything? i am not sure if i’m using ls3 or ly6 accessories? This is my first swap so looking for any tips. Also what is needed to delete vvt. heard vvt is best deleted. I was looking at oil pump and looks like i’m going to have to run a stand alone or run the two lines back together and kind of delete it. Would deleting oil cooler cause temps to get too hot or what? ly6 ly6 oil pan ls3
What are you going to do with the motor you are calling junk?
Pulling camshaft cover, lifters, springs, rods anything that can go into this new ly6. The piston sleeve is scored. Can see a few spots where the heads and block broke off when it blew. Behind the cam you can see broken piece of block Top left there is a chip out the block
