Hasn't the 2010 Camaro been a big profit booster for GM? I keep hearing that dealerships are falling short of demand. Anyhow, the Z28 will be on its way, and when they run out of new package options and the people have had enough of the 5th gen model, that's when they'll hussle on the 6th gen. Besides, if they get rid of the Camaro, what other muscle car will GM have to offer against the competition?

It's a shame they even brought back the Camaro. It's nothing more than a 3900 lb pile of crap that GM has fooled people into thinking it's a performance car. 426 hp and 12.90s-13.10s in the 1/4 mile? Pathetic. And then for people to think these Titanics will actually corner is another laugh altogether.

The 5th Generation Camaro is nothing more than a cheap version of a Cadillac CTS...a family car.

No idea. When i made it, there was just a 2010 Camaro section. No sub-sections for the 5th gens.

I knew I was ruff on the new Camaro... but at least my only complaint was I didn't like the way it looked.

I feel like you; this car will go on thru years without any change because GM is sitting on his success with it.

This is a problem, because GM will think this car doesnt need any update given the sales number with the Camaro. But it wont last long; the new Stang is back in the game more than ever and there is a fuzz about it.

Thing is they have to retouch the car a bit to shave weight a bit to put it in the same weight range of the Stang. They would lower MPG and better performance..but as long as the sales are going well or ok they wont make a change to it. They retouch it, when its too late..hope not but it happenned before so..

Yeah, who wants a car that is doing the 1/4 stock in the 12s@110mph for 31K$?? Nobody, I prefer a pricier car that is slower and doesnt have a nice platform that is easy to mod..

You about a fruit cake you phuckstick! ! ! Funny the car is selling well. It actually handles better than u think, responds to mods well and built way better the the older camaro The weight is the nature of the beast. Have you ever heard of federal regulations car manufactures have to abide by to meet safety, that's where a lot of the wight comes from. It is what it is. The car was built to appeal to a wide variaty of buyers, not just people who drag or slalom them. . . Family car? Keep driving your Subaru you idiot

Dunno, going by the figures at nutswinger5.com Ford got a temporary boost, but the Camaro is catching up pretty quick.

April Camaro outsold by 4005 cars
May Mustang outsold by 1294 cars
June Mustang outsold by 1434
But in July Mustang only outsold by 3 cars.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98475

Before that Mustang had been getting its *** whooped in sales since June 09. I bet if Camaro doesn't overtake this month it'll be damn close.

Seems to me tables are turned this generation. Ford is turning into the enthusiast's car, and everything everyone here doesn't like about the Camaro is probably why the general public is eating them up.
