What do you dislike about the new Camaro? Do you think it is worth the money performance wise over everything on the market? Such as the new 5.0 Challenger etc.. I don't want arguiments just some FACTS..

Performance wise yes. It IMO has a lot more potential and wakes up with a few mods.
What do I dislike?
20" wheels with big brembos standard on the ss. They should offer a v6 brake option for cheaper.
More options but less packages. Its hard to get only what you want.
Some sort of gear option would of gone a long way too IMO.
Oh and the paint quality sucks. At least it did for the first years. It chips like a ****.

yes the paint sucks, but they are supposed to use a different paint now or soon. also, the sun visors are useless, besides that the car is a very nice and comfortable ride. It gets a lot of attention and can be woken up quite easily. Drives more like a Cadillac than a 4th gen, nice and quiet.

I see them around all the time
-way too quiet, but has true duals at least
-v-sis,rs,ss all look the same to average people. "another new camaro everyone! look!"
-no live axle
-ugly from the rear IMO. looks like the engine could be back there like a ferrari 360
-LS3 comes to life with intake, lts, cat back(more for sound as the stock is pretty straight foward), and a tune
-still too heavy. 3900+ i think compared to 4th gen 3400=3500
list goes on. Point is for that money you can have a really quick 3rd or 4th gen. then again, in new cars everything works real nice like

engine is fine where its sits .no need to move it . i own a 94 lt1 bird
engine compartment .very tight .. as far as weight ..is concerned the camaro
is 300 lbs lighter than the challenger . when my money is "right " im going to
get a new camaro im having too much of a love hate thing with my 94 bird
the new car makes the previous car look downright old.

The weight is the big issue with me. I am not a fan of removing interior and lot's of the other bs to make it faster.
How is the handling on the camaro? I know my Formy was a nose diver in corners but some sub frames and a strut brace tightened her up very nice..

Dislikes- Visibility for sure but you get used to it.. Paint is looking questionable so far.
Likes...everything else. (especially the performance) It matches my h/c 98 in the acceleration department and it only has bolt ons. Handling is by far superior to my 98 z-28 and the ride quality is phenomenal. A set of springs and swaybars sends the handling performance sky high from what I have read.
My combined mpg for the past 3 months has been 18.7 and hasnt moved. I dont think I have driven the car once and not mashed the pedal. I dont beat the **** out of the car....but I would say I drive it like most people would drive a sports car. My driving is probably about 50/50 city and highway.
My highway mpg is around 23-24 last time I checked on a long trip.
Weight is another disadvantage...the 1SS M6 is 3849 stock. I have removed the entire factory exhaust system and have aftermarket...I should be close to 3800 even with a full tank. and near 3700 with a 1/8th tank. But I weigh 235...so I am not helping anything.

GM curb weight for the 2SS m6 is listed at 3860 per GM. 1SS is at 3849 from what I can gather.
2SS A6 is 3910 I believe.
Curb weight is with a full tank and all fluids (ready to drive)
Your A6 2SS stock would not be 3849 with a full tank. A full tank of gas is worth about ~100 lbs. (depending on tank size). The curb weight is 3900-3910 for an A6 2SS.

Performance is awesome IMO, no complaints there. It would be nice if it was a little lighter but I can live with the weight.
Downside is that it's hard to launch in stock form with IRS and 20" rims. Pirelli's suck IMO. I wish there was a gear option from the factory. My biggest annoyance is no memory seat, that really pisses me off for a brand new $36K car.
Other than that I have no complaints and the car has amazed me at the strip and on the street.

But, its 3680 now with a half tank.
